Bill Baker is a dedicated leader with over 25 years of experience in business, government contracting, and strategic planning. As a longtime resident of Enterprise, AL, he has worked alongside the community to make the city a better place to live, work, and play. Now, he’s ready to bring bold new leadership to Enterprise as its next mayor.


With nearly two decades of commercial and government executive management experience, Bill has successfully executed contracts with the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, and Department of Education, as well as multiple state governments. As Vice President of Government Services at Navigator International, LLC, he specializes in strategic planning, operations management, and economic growth—skills that will be invaluable in guiding Enterprise into the future.

Bill’s leadership background extends to national service, having served as National Chief of Staff for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and as a National Executive Committee Member. His military and civilian career have equipped him with full-spectrum management skills, making him an adept problem solver who knows how to get things done.


Enterprise is a growing city, and it needs leadership with strong business experience.

A Strategic Focus for Enterprise



Bill Baker’s campaign is built on unity and progress. His top priority is bringing a shared vision to city leadership—when everyone moves together toward a common goal, progress happens faster and more effectively.



Priorities Upon Election

  • Collaborate with all city departments to develop a 5-10-year strategic plan.
  • Assess budget challenges and identify viable funding solutions for each department.
  • Address the growing demands associated with the new Veterans Home and other economic developments.


Managing Enterprise’s Growth

With the new VA Center, Enterprise must be prepared for rapid expansion. Bill Baker will:

  • Identify vendors and businesses that will support the new facility.
  • Plan for increased utility consumption rates (power, water, sewer, internet).
  • Ensure the city’s infrastructure supports sustainable development.

Strengthening Emergency Services

As Enterprise grows, its emergency response capabilities must evolve. Bill Baker will:

  • Expand emergency service areas and resources.
  • Strategically plan for new fire stations, including a proposed location near Salem Road and Highway 167.
  • Work closely with emergency managers to ensure rapid and efficient emergency response.


Expanding Leisure & Recreational Opportunities

A thriving city offers diverse leisure activities. Bill Baker will:

  • Work with the Parks and Recreation Department to enhance city parks and facilities.
  • Attract state-level sports competitions, including karate, soccer, baseball, football, basketball, and pickleball.
  • Promote a high quality of life by making recreation affordable and accessible for all citizens.

A Commitment to Education & Community Growth

Bill Baker recognizes the importance of education and community collaboration. As Mayor, he will:

  • Partner with the Enterprise School System to provide essential resources and support for students and teachers.
  • Strengthen ties with Aviation Center of Excellence officials to ensure the city benefits from military partnerships.
  • Work with the Chamber of Commerce to position Enterprise as a top destination for military retirees and newcomers.
